Unfortunetly he has not seen his friends for many months, their various priestly devotions separating them for a time.

Several years ago he almost attacked the Speaker of the One True Light when that notable came to speak with the Temple of the Nine in Nevan. He was one of the Trio who assassinated the former High Priest of the One True Light, Florian Cooper.

They holed up in an abandoned section of underground tunnels they had prepared with preserved food and water.

The plan was to create an extremely early cold winter. With a light food shortage and an obvious display of Marach's displeasure. When the Town of Nevan finally came to its collective senses, they would triumphantly return with a miraculous solution to the crisis. The final nail in the One True Light's coffin and the Temple of the Nine would welcome the priests of Piccor back into their fold. They didn't know about the blockade around the Nevan Lake, nor about the food shortage that resulted from the lack of trade along the Nevan River. The other priests of the Nine sent out search parties with no success. Elven operatives that found out about the plot mislead or killed any that got too close.

The priests were informed of the truth by Masark and his companions. Horrified by what they had done, they fought their elven jailers and returned to Nevan.

Enough silver exchanged hands, and Hollberg was a member of the plot to assassinate the Emperor. He eased access for Dublin's agents to place the explosive powder and get away. Hollberg was killed by a group of adventurers, led by Oskar Shein. His mother was murdered soon after by ninja working for Master Dublin.

He has a modicum of arrogance about his elevated social station in life, but prefers to be magnanimously humble about his place. He was trained from birth by his father, Jeremy Kirodan IX, as a skilled negotiator and administrator. His training focused mainly upon negotiation and trade, and as a result he is still a little naïve about imperial politics. This naiveté has recently been worn down after the ruthless and very cutthroat election of Regent Rothgar.

Krosnap – Ancient Arch-demon whose mind was imprisoned in the sword known as Dark Reaver. His body was split into many parts and strewn across the continent by an ancient Elven wizard of immense knowledge named Gelvanin. He worked for a time as a bodyguard for Darius, who traveled with Masark. Feeling an unearned sense of distrust and dislike from the party, he left and moved on. Has no love of the Empire, but will never support the Dogs of War or any other elven puppet.

James Maxwell – Older priest of Khadina. Lived in Nevan, moved to Town of Westgate after the collapse of the Church of the Nine in Nevan. His rather absentminded and soft exterior hid a great mind and an even softer interior. Marcus would go to great lengths to please others, but knew when he was being manipulated or duped. Marcus always enjoyed speaking with heroic mages, he liked to live vicariously through them and hear the tales of their adventures.

He was in charge of both Saleen and the underground expeditions to the Pyramid of Gelvanin. Marcus was killed in the year 2329 by a band of undead warriors. His brother Samuel Nazirson currently owns and operates a Silver and Goldsmithy in Waterdown.

He had a very well paid and loyal crew of citizen races perfectly willing to follow their captain, all knowing of his true racial heritage.

Salinus Riven once gave free transport to the Speaker of the One True Light. He did this in order to capture, or kill, him and his companions. While Salinus was able to slay Dastempe Shav, the other victims were able to escape from his ship. Dastempe was killed by Salinus Riven, in the year 2328, while returning with Masark and companions from the Colonies. Fearing an ambush, Dastempe went above-decks to discover the truth. He was slaughtered by Salinus, stripped of his belongings, and fed to the sharks that swam around the ship.
