Common E'gathin Calendar
The calendar currently in use in Selan is the Common E'gathin Calendar (Abbreviated with CE). The Common E'gathin Calendar is used in the Empire of E'gath, most of the Merchant Kingdoms, the Pelini Isles, and the southern Colonies. It begins with the founding of the Empire and the Diet of High Kharanul. Any events before the end of the Great Rebellion are listed as Before Common E'gathin Calendar (BCE).

The E'gathin Calendar is divided into twelve months, each containing thirty days. This calendar month is also split into five weeks, each week having six days. There are no unused days, leap-days, or other modifications to this system.

Primus is the first month of the year and the first month of spring. Marela is named after Marach, goddess of oceans and weather. Dalume is the third and last month of spring. Murelm is the first month of summer. Named after Mures, the god of life and healing. Warshun is the second month of summer. Sulent is named after the god of justice, Sullum. The last month of summer. September is the seventh month of the year and the first month of autumn. October is the eighth month of the year. November is the ninth month of the year and the last month of autumn. December is the tenth month of the year and the first month of winter. Batila is the eleventh month of the year. Kadinora is the twefth, and last, month of the year. It is also the last month of winter and named after Khadina, the god of the Dead.
