A young man from Dooneberg, wearing the robes of a priest of Khadina enters the Temple of the Ten there for the first time. As he wanders around looking in awe at the Temple he will be serving at he smiles. After looking over the shared area he steps out into the graveyard area and begins to survey the work that needs to be done to get the grounds back in order. Here and there wooden gravemarkers need replacing, a few tombstones need touch up work, weeding and planting to make the grounds look more in shape.
With the understanding that there is much work ahead he still smiles and leans against the nearst tombstone, a handcarved wooden one that looks as if it needs more than a few repairs. Suddenly there is a sickening crack as the tombstone gives way as the wood is badly rotten and old. And his hand squishes through rotten and bug ridden wood to hit something solid and metal inside.
The young priest carefull pulls and pries the hollow tombstone open revealing what is inside a box... just big enough for a book. Glancing at the name on the tomb before he heads inside he reads "Bryce Swift - Devoted Minister of Khadina, Cherished Mentor and Friend."
Once in his own little cell he carefully cleans off the box, noticing that the box has been sealed with wax and carefully protected against water and other damage... and with a bit of trepidation pops the box open revealing a book with the holy symbol of Khadina embossed on a leather cover. Cracking the tomb he begins to read...
